So, which Genshin Impact weapon is better, Primordial Jade Cutter or Key of Khaj-Nisut. Well, both of them are five-star weapons, which means that they’re each quite powerful in their own way. However, out of the two, the Jade Cutter is way more useful and versatile. The Key of Khaj-Nisut is the signature weapon of Nilou, so if you’re planning on rolling for her and playing as her extensively, then sure, go for it. In any other case, it’s just too specific of a sword. Sure, the HP scaling is nice and the the passive is relatively okay, but it’s just not what most sword-wielding characters can much profit from. Long story short, the Key is going to be good for Nilou, but little else.

And there you have it; between the Key of Khaj-Nisut and Primordial Jade Cutter, that’s which weapon we think is better to roll for in Genshin Impact. The Jade Cutter is just much better, because more characters can use it. Plus, its stats and passives are more useful. Namely, its secondary stat is Crit Rate instead of HP. Its passive, Protector’s Virtue, grants you 20% extra health and a bonus to ATK equal to 1.2 of the wielder’s max HP. Add it all up, and honestly, you get one of the best swords in the game. You can give it to Jean or Keqing or Xingqiu, but realistically, any sword character can profit from that Crit Rate and HP boost. Definitely something to spend your hard-earned Primogems on.
